Karrie Casey Health communications leader and accredited behaviour change coach

From Insight To Action

I came to health and behaviour change coaching through genuine curiosity. In an age of endless information, I wanted to understand ‘‘What actually moves people to change? ’’. Completing my Level 5 coaching accreditation confirmed what I'd long suspected: knowing about a new product or initiative is rarely enough to drive adoption. Real change requires understanding motivation at a deeper level, and knowing the kind of sustained support required to help new behaviours become second nature.

I now bring these principles into everything I do; applying behaviourial science frameworks like COM-B to shape communications strategies that go beyond awareness, and drawing on coaching techniques when mentoring 1:1, developing teams, and facilitating workshops, so that individuals feel genuinely empowered to grow and achieve.
